Monday, June 8 - Thursday, June 25: This will be the last project for the year! I know a lot of you were really looking forward to learning about plants and animals this year and getting to be outside exploring Mackenzie. I am really sorry that this is how you've had to experience biology. I encourage you to keep learning biological sciences if you get the chance and never stop being curious! It's truly been a pleasure to be your teacher this year and watch you learn so much about the world around you. Thank you for a great semester!
Download the slides below and read through them. Watch the videos. Download the assignment below. It will be due on Thursday, June 19th.
There is also a link to a website about the poisonous mushrooms found in B.C. I would like you to go through those and familiarize yourself with them. It is especially important that you understand to not touch or eat mushrooms that you cannot identify accurately.

*For the fungus lab, you don't have to just focus on mushrooms...you can even observe mould that has formed on old food! Be creative! If you have trouble finding 5 different samples of fungus, just let me know!
